Thank you so much Noella and Claudia, yes I this was my entry. I used two photos I took at two different farms, one of a pumpkin patch and one of the pigs. The pigs were so adorable and came right up to me looking for food so I was able to take many shots of them. They all seemed to have personalities and were quit humorous! I love to paint animals and it seemed to work for me.
I do have senneliers and rembrandts. My house is very dry it seems and the senneliers tend to break up. The rembrandts are very hard. I start with Nupastels then later build up to the softer ones. The colors I needed I only had rembrandts and they would not layer. I bought some Terry Ludwigs to try and some MT visions as recommended by a facebook artist. The experimentation begins!
